Opis firmy:

The Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Systems Biology at the Centre of New Technologies (University of Warsaw), headed by dr. Krzysztof Ginalski, invites applications for undergraduate student. Position will be available immediately and funded by the National Science Centre within Maestro grant “High resolution map of DNA double-strand breaks in human genome”.

Opis stanowiska:

The successful candidate will work with the newest technologies of next generation sequencing (HiSec4000, HiSeq2500, MiSeq) within interdisciplinary research team. She/he will have the opportunity to conduct the research for Master degree thesis and continue her/his work during PhD studies.

Oczekujemy:

Candidate's profile:

Education: Undergraduate student of biology, biochemistry, biotechnology or biophysics

Qualifications:

- Experience in molecular biology or biochemistry lab

- Practice in basic molecular techniques for DNA and RNA analysis, e.g. isolation, spectrophotometric and fluorometric quantity and quality assessment, gel electrophoresis, PCR, RT-PCR, RealTime-PCR

- Basic knowledge of sequencing technologies including next generation sequencing will be an advantage
